With
a pioneer spirit, Mother Xavier LeBihan of LaFaouet, France founded
the Ursulines of Chatham in 1860 in Ontario. We Ursulines are
an outgrowth of the original company of women gathered around Angela
Merici in sixteenth century Italy to respond to the needs of their
time.
