Affirming Life     

Afirmando La Vida (Affirming Life) is a Joint Ministry Agreement with the Ursuline Religious of the Diocese of London, the Chatham Ursuline Charities and Centre St. Angela, Peru.

The Ursulines established this management structure to ensure the continuation of the ministry which we began in Peru.   Centre St. Angela was established to meet the urgent needs of the people of Urrunaga, Chiclayo, Peru.   The Centre St. Angela is a recognized non-profit organization established by the Ursulines with a group of dedicated Peruvian women and men to affirm, respect and defend life.

Your interest, prayers, solidarity and financial support are sources of strength for our brothers and sisters in Peru who gather at Centre St. Angela.

How Financial Donations Work

One hundred percent of all donations received through Afirmando La Vida go directly to meeting the needs of the people served through Centre St. Angela.  Some of these needs include basic health care, education programs, literacy for women, prevention of family violence and community development.  All programs at the Centre St. Angela are concerned with training in leadership, building self-esteem, developing organizational skills and accompanying the members of the faith community of Centre St. Angela.
